Current Breeding Season

Planned Ferrethood breeds on a small scale following the natural breeding cycles of the ferrets residing here. Since males and females must both be in season in order to have a successful pairing, our breeding season typically starts in early fall around Feburary and ends by early summer around June. Since the kits are born on a small scale a waiting list is maintained for upcoming litters. Kits are limited so please get your name in early if you are interested in a particular litter. Please fill out the Placement Application in order to be considered for the PFH waiting list. Planned pairing will only occur if enough homes are secured in advance to ensure that PFH is not responsible adding an overpopulation of kits to the ferret community.
